Illusionist School
In the history of the art of illusion, there are numerous examples of people from all kinds of professions becoming magicians: lawyers, engineers, philosophers, military officers, programmers, musicians, and even plumbers. However, there are also reverse examples of professional illusionists leaving the stage to become successful businessmen, lawyers, psychologists and even politicians. I guess that’s what destiny is all about. So it doesn’t matter how old you are when you started doing tricks. What’s important is what kind of personality you are, what kind of ambition, what kind of talent you have.
But even if your career as a professional illusionist doesn’t work out, the ability to show tricks will make you stronger in any profession. After all, the art of illusionism develops not only manual dexterity, but also attentiveness, resourcefulness, the ability to control attention, and communication skills. You can’t even imagine how a life-changing trick shown at the right time, in the right place, to the right people can change your life.

FAQ
Many technical points are difficult to explain through a webcam, so distance learning takes longer. In addition, the composition of the program is adjusted to those tricks that are more effective to learn online.
The same as to the self-studies of playing musical instruments and sheet music. No one has ever learned to play from books and self-study. Most seminars are designed for professional magicians, and are hardly useful for beginners (like sheet music for those who can’t play). You have no opportunity to ask questions, demonstrate what you have learned, or learn about your mistakes.
One in-person lesson (except mentalism) costs $7,000.
There is such a notion – self-cost, which can be interpreted as “self-cost”, that is, the cost of their own time, their knowledge, experience, responsibility and attention to the student. We are focused not on mass but on quality. Only those who are already serious about tricks and want to achieve a certain result come to us. In this class, you get refined information, collected over the years, bit by bit. You can build this knowledge on your own, but it can take months or even years. We are ready to share our experience. Remember that you invest in yourself. An expensive car can be stolen, money can be lost, but the knowledge and skills that you get will be with you forever, and will surely be useful in the most unexpected situations (maybe even life-saving).
In conclusion, it should be noted that the price of a lesson, can hardly be cheaper than the minimum price of a magician’s performance. In America, this threshold starts at $15,000. It is absurd if it costs less to invite a magician to teach a trick than to perform a trick.
If not to pour water, and to practice, then by the end of the hour, many students themselves realize that they are already tired and to do more will be “not for the horse’s sake. A shock course of ten tricks is mastered in 1.5 hours, and the study of card techniques in forty minutes causes “mush” in the head. It’s hard to believe it now, but once you start, you’ll see for yourself. All focus trainings, intensives and courses that last 5-6 hours are nothing more than a “lure”, the desire to earn more and justify the price tag. From a six-hour training, you will remember no more than from an hour-long class, so long lessons are useless and ineffective.
Yes, you can. The degree of your illusion training does not matter. What does matter is your intellect, your sense of humor, your artistry, your speech, your charm, your charisma, and generally what defines you as a person.
Despite the fact that some tricks you can already show after the first lesson, we strongly recommend not to hurry in mastering the material. On average, in two months you will be able to entertain your friends and relatives with tricks. Not before a year of hard work will yield something more serious.
We cannot guarantee that you will become a professional by learning from us (or anyone else). Most performers have their own unique path of development. Before becoming a professional magician, we graduated from an institute. This does not mean that we can recommend the same path of coming to professionalism in magic tricks to everyone. However, all of these life stages have influenced one’s outlook, shaped one’s personality, and contributed to one’s artistic experience.
Most magicians came into the original genre from different professions. Illusionists are “piece goods” and there can’t be a talent pool or one hundred percent guaranteed recipes for success. Even at circus school they will teach you how to juggle and dance, but no one can guarantee you a career as a successful illusionist.
We teach from the age of 18. For an earlier age, we can do magic lessons, the point of which is not to teach, but to entertain children. The recommended age for our courses is from 18 years old. It is from this age that stable ideas about life, psychology, spectators are formed and the ability to correctly perceive many aspects of our art appears.
